The valuation report is available to advise an intending purchaser whether the sum being paid for the property appears reasonable.
The property is inspected by a qualified Surveyor/Valuer mainly for the purpose of determining its current market value.
Any obvious defects noted will be referred to in the report and taken into account in the valuation, but the report will not provide a detailed inspection and it is therefore quite possible that there are factors or faults present in the property which would only be revealed by a more detailed inspection.
